Final Table Deal

In our poker tournaments, players who successfully make it to the Final Table now have the option to negotiate a deal to share the remaining prize pool based on the Independent Chip Model (ICM), rather than sticking to the initial prize distribution set for the tournament.

Initiating the deal

When players arrive at the Final Table, they'll see a 'Discuss a Deal' checkbox available for selection. Marking this box will display a deal indicator icon next to their name.

If every player involved checks this box, the tournament will temporarily halt, and a new screen will appear showcasing the suggested prize pool distribution according to ICM.

Players will then have time to either agree to the proposed distribution or reject it. If even one player declines, the tournament will continue as normal. Conversely, if all agree to the deal, the prize pool will be allocated according to the agreed terms.

It's important to note that a portion of the prize pool can be earmarked for the eventual tournament winner. If this is the case, play will resume after the deal is made, and the tournament will continue until one player wins. However, if no funds are reserved for the winner, the tournament concludes once the deal is finalized.

*ICM (Independent Chip Model) is a statistical framework that estimates each player’s likely payout based on their chip count and the total prize pool structure.
